Abjad — the Arabic alphabet Coming soon

An app for learning the Arabic alphabet in abjad order, the historical order of the letters. Each letter is presented through its stroke, its four joining forms, its diacritics and its syllables, with a descriptive card and recorded pronunciation.

The interface is translated into 98 languages. The app works entirely offline: audio and graphics are embedded in the installation package.

No network permission

The published build does not declare the Internet permission. The operating system itself prevents the app from making any request.

No account

No sign-up, no identifier, no password. Nothing that would let us recognise you from one device to the next.

No measurement

No analytics, no usage reporting, no advertising identifier. We do not know who uses the app.

Progress and preferences are stored on the device only. Uninstalling the app erases them permanently. See the privacy policy.
